Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Shop Assistant. As a Shop Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the overall operations of our shop. This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and development.
Duties:
– Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor
– Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is properly displayed
– Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
– Assist with inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise
– Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and offering assistance
Skills:
– Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
– Sales experience is preferred but not required
– Organizational skills to maintain an orderly shop environment
– Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
– Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management
