Our client located in Mississauga is looking for a Shop/ Field Service Technician (Mechanic)
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing on-site maintenance, repairs, and
troubleshooting of mechanical engine systems and equipment.

Job Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on various engine systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with
precision
and efficiency.
Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components using hand and power tools.
Inspection, diagnosis, failure analysis, service, rebuild, repair, preventive maintenance troubleshoot, test, disassembly / assembly and /or installation of components / engine before or upon delivery to customers, in accordance with standards and guidelines established by the company or products suppliers as required.
Inspect defective equipment / products and diagnoses malfunctions or cause of failure,using test instruments and writing analysis reports.
Service / warranty repairs which may result in working in a variety of environment outside of the workshop with potential overnight travel or stay.
Provide direct customer service and troubleshoot either face to face or over the telephone.
Products repair and service also include warranty service and recall.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific mechanical concerns.
Provide clear explanations of the repair or maintenance process to clients.
Maintain accurate records of all on-site activities, including inspections and repairs.
Generate detailed reports outlining work performed, parts used, and any recommendations for future maintenance.
Job Requirements:
Proven experience as a Field Mechanical Service Technician.
Relevant certifications in mechanical systems or
equipment maintenance
are a plus.
Hands-on experience
with the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems.
Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools.
Strong
problem-solving
and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent
communication
and interpersonal skills.
Ability to
work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with
safety protocols
and regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

mechanical: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Class 5 Licence (preferred)
Journeyman (preferred)
Trade Certificate (preferred)
