Pro-Door & Dock Systems is a premier overhead door and loading dock contractor serving commercial businesses, property management companies, industrial plants, and residences. Our 24-hour, 365 days-a-year emergency service and maintenance experts are always on-call with fully equipped service vehicles to respond efficiently whenever required by our clients.
We are currently looking for a full time permanent shop assistant to help maintain a smooth operation.

Responsibilities
Perform general warehouse functions such as: pick, pack, shipping, and receiving
Replenish stock and store products in the appropriate location
Handle and transport materials and equipment
Use power tools when needed
Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers and colleagues
Practice and adhere to safe working procedures
Maintain an organized and clean environment
Perform other general warehousing duties as assigned by Management
Requirements
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds etc.)
Good hand and eye coordination
Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
Communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safety rules
Housekeeping as needed daily, weekly and monthly
Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities
Strong attention to detail
Positive attitude, flexible and adaptable, high energy, and self-motivated
Dedicated to providing superior customer service and quality focused
Experience in an overhead door company an asset
Must Have
Clean drivers abstract
DZ License (not required but would be an asset)
Forklift license (not required but would be an asset)
Welding experience (not required but would be an asset)
