We are looking for a Shop Assistant/Parts Runner to assist our mechanic. Responsible for inputting and maintaining records in our fleet management system, updating forms and traveling in a company vehicle to pick up parts from dealers.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain DOT and OSHA records for vehicles and machinery.
- Inputting data into Fleetio using a computer.
- Maintain the shop floor, ensuring it is clean and tidy at all times.
- Drive to area shops/dealers for parts as needed.
- Communicate with mechanics regarding repairs/parts/concerns.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must have a clean driving record for last 3 years
- Must have or be willing to obtain a DOT Medical Card
- Lift 50-100 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
