🔧 Role Overview
You will lead Shipping & Receiving operations, ensuring:
✔ Smooth daily dispatch & inventory flow
✔ Accurate stock management
✔ On-time, cost-effective deliveries
✔ Team performance & safety compliance
🎯 Key Responsibilities
• Lead Shipping/Receiving team (hiring, scheduling, performance)
• Manage daily shipping operations & meet KPIs
• Ensure inventory accuracy (cycle counts, audits, reporting)
• Coordinate with Sales & Customer Service for dispatch planning
• Manage yard operations & inventory movement
• Handle carriers, logistics vendors & shipping schedules
• Drive LEAN / 5S initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety & operational standards
✅ Must Have
• 5+ years in Shipping/Logistics (Manufacturing preferred)
• 3+ years working with carriers & transportation coordination
• Prior team leadership / supervisory experience
• Strong Excel + ERP exposure
• Forklift experience
⭐ Nice to Have
• Experience with engineered drawings
• Knowledge of LEAN / 5S
