Overview of Position:

The Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for picking, scheduling and tracking all outgoing shipments, and responding to all customer inquiries via phone and/or email.

Job Responsibilities:

· Manage all outgoing shipments, including picking the items in each order, creating the shipping label and ensuring prepared shipments are going out on time

· Processing customer payments and issuing refunds from time to time

· Informing the purchasing team of any out-of-stock items in a timely manner

· Building product knowledge to ensure the correct items are being sent to our customers and you’re able to effectively answer any product inquiries they may have

· Assist any walk-in customers with order pickups, in-store purchases, product inquiries etc.

· Liaise with shipping companies to resolve any issues that may arise with shipments

· Working with the rest of the CS team to resolve customer complaints and requests, including providing shipments on outgoing orders

· Regularly checking the CS email to ensure inquiries and requests for information are being responses to in a timely manner

· Notify the appropriate departments about any shipments with special delivery instructions

· Maintain records of completed shipments and resolved customer complaints as per the companies procedures

· Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements:

· Proficient in Microsoft systems

· Familiar with 3PL systems

· Fluent in written and spoken English, with excellent reading and writing skills and attention to detail

· Excellent customer service skills

· Problem solving skills, takes initiative to find creative solutions to problems

· Strong time management and organizational skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as a team

· Ability to multitask

· Outgoing, bubbly and friendly demeanor an asset!

Working Conditions:

· Office environment (this is not a work from home or a hybrid position).

· Sedentary, working at a desk/picking orders in a warehouse environment

· Using the computer and phone for prolonged periods of time

Experience:

· 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service role

· 1 year experience working in a logistics environment

Education:

· Must be finished school (this is a full time, permanent position).

· University or college degree/diploma in administration, business, or a combination of education and relevant experience

Job Type:

· Full time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
