Summary…
Functioning as a member of the Warehouse team; responsible for a variety of administrative duties relative to the Port Coquitlam Warehouse / Shipping.
This is a full time permanent position with hours:
Sunday: 10:30am – 7:12pm.
Monday – Thursday 1:00pm – 8:42pm.
How you will make contributions that matter…
Sorts shipping documents into “pick order” based on daily load-out schedule.
Confirms picked orders to system – adjusts orders based on established process.
Assists with “customer pick-ups” and communication with third party carriers.
Coordinates and tracks trailer arrival/receiving and departure.
Assists in all areas of administration within the Shipping Office.
Flexible to work other shifts (days, graveyards, and afternoons).
Performs other duties as required.
You are best suited for the role if you…
Proficient in the use of MS Office suite – Word / Excel / Outlook.
Working knowledge of WMS systems.
Knowledge of shipping, warehousing, and transportation an asset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
Self-motivated; able to perform with minimal supervision.
Proficiency and dependability in current position.
