bmg.GLASS + ALUMINUM INC. is seeking an incumbent for a full-time position to support our growing business.
About the Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager the Shipper / Receiver supports the logistics team receiving materials and shipping components to the job site to support the team building windows curtainwalls, storefronts, window walls, punched/fixed windows, entry systems, automatic doors/operators, interior glazing, glass balustrades, custom residential showers, specialty and custom jobs. DZ license will be an asset.
Duties
- Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Health and Safety Policies
- Responsible for loading and unloading shipments and deliveries, DZ license with be an additional asset
- Track and verify receipts of shipments as required
- Perform quality audits for all shipped goods and incoming materials
- Problem solves discrepancies as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to work in a production environment
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- DZ License with shipping receiving.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment
- Excellent oral, written, and communication skills
- Basic working knowledge and experience using MS office (word and excel)
