We are currently looking for a full-time Lead Warehouse Shipper/Receiver.
Job Overview / Summery
Under the direction of the Branch Manager this role will be as follows. The primary role will be to prepare order requests by picking or packaging securely for transport. Satisfying customer material request during day-to-day operation. Safe forklift operation and heavy lifting will be a daily requirement. Coordination inbound and outbound shipments. Completing all necessary documentation. Warehouse Restock and organization. Coopering with all departments of the effective and efficient operations. Provide friendly professional interaction with cliental. Adhering to the ABC customer Service Delivery System profiles.
Responsibilities and Duties:
SDCB forklift operation.
Delivery preparation and staging.
Organize and maintain the warehouse for ease of picking orders.
Daily truck scheduling.
Warehouse and yard cleanliness.
Loading and unloading of trucks and ensure associated paperwork is correct.
Verifying and signing off on all outgoing and incoming documentation.
Supervises all material are stored neatly and put away in their proper locations.
Assists in materials ordering and inventory accuracy.
Participate in all training required by the company.
Qualifications (both required and that are an asset):
Computer literate
Organized
Strong sense of time and urgency
Able to work in a team or independently
Good written and verbal communication skills
Forklift certification required though we can re-certify
Work Conditions:
Outdoors in all weather and Warehouse environment
Can be labor intensive
Tight deadlines
