The impact you will have
The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for activities related to the movement of goods both in and out of our Mississauga Distribution Centre.
As the Shipper/Receiver, you will:
Shipping and Receiving, picking orders and stocking inventory
Inventory control, cycle counting parts
Proper processing, packaging, and labelling of inventory and customer order’s
Preparing bill of ladings through our Transportation Management System
Establishing and maintaining reliable records in accordance with company procedures
Operate a Raymond Reach to move, convey, or hoist products and pallets
Where appropriate; open packages, remove products, and visually inspect for damage
Be a steward of Health and Safety practices in the workplace
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
Skills and Abilities:
Highly advanced organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.
Working knowledge and understanding of quality management
Current or prior forklift/Raymond reach experience
Demonstrates excellent consistent communication to all team members and management
Excellent knowledge of computerized environments applying variety of program skills.
Efficient time management skills and the ability to meet prescribed deadlines.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
