Position Summary:

The Shipper/Receiver plays a key role in the smooth operation of our pharmacy warehouse by managing incoming and outgoing shipments. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to handle physical tasks, and understands the importance of accuracy and compliance in a pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips

• Unpack, label, and store products in appropriate inventory locations, ensuring proper storage conditions (including temperature-sensitive items)

• Pick, pack, and prepare pharmacy orders and supplies for outbound shipments with high attention to detail

• Create shipping labels and documentation using courier and internal systems

• Coordinate with courier services to schedule and track timely pickups and deliveries

• Monitor, track, and resolve discrepancies in inbound and outbound shipments

• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock rotation and regular cycle counts

• Keep warehouse and shipping/receiving areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety and regulatory standards

• Follow all SOPs, safety protocols, and relevant regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with pharmacy, inventory, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment

• 
  Must be able to lift and move totes weighing up to 50 lbs

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse role (pharmacy, healthcare, or regulated environment preferred)

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks

• Familiarity with inventory systems and shipping software is an asset

• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team

• Knowledge of pharmacy logistics, cold chain shipping, or medication handling is a plus
