Position Details
Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking Shipping & Receiving Labourers with a Telehandler ticket for work at our Fabrication Shop in Nisku, AB.
What You Will Be Working On
Assist with shipping and receiving and checking in construction materials
Assist with onsite site material transfer and handling
Helps coordinate movement of materials and equipment to work location
Use of Skid Steer and Zoom Boom
Take instructions from immediate Supervisor to complete tasks as outlined daily
Attend required meetings as requested
Perform a variety of activities involving mild, medium, and/or heavy physical labour
Unpack and route goods to appropriate storage area
Confirm material accuracy and documentation
Following safe work and quality policies and procedures
What We Are Looking For
WHMIS 2015
CSTS-20
Valid Telehandler/Zoom Boom ticket
Experience as a laborer/receiver
Experience working in a Fabrication Shop preferred. Pipe and structural steel knowledge would be an asset
Valid Driver’s License (non GDL)
The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
Able to work with their hands and safely operate power tools and equipment run by gasoline, diesel, electricity, and compressed air
