How You’ll Perform the Role
Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries within the warehouse and production areas.
Transports material to and from designated areas in the facility
Loading and unloading goods on and off delivery trucks
Moving goods packed on pallets around the storage facility
Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
Checking loads are secure and inspect the truck for clean lines, contamination
Stacking empty pallets
Performing daily equipment checks
Removing material from production machine areas
Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards
Accurately picking orders and building skids of product based on list of materials
Inventory cycle counts and spot check counts
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
Know and apply HACCP , SQF standard
Observe all policies : GMP , food security ( SQF) and other company guidelines and regulations
What We Need From You
Minimum 4 years experience shipping and receiving
Minimum 2 years using a manual ERP system process
Good math
Fluent in English (speaking, writing and reading)
Basic computer skills an asset
Attention to detail is required
Execute assignments in an accurate and timely manner
Maintain a clean & safe environment
Valid Forklift certification with Raymond reach experience
Experience operating a double deep reach truck and counterbalance lift truck.
Clamp truck experience is an asset.
SQF certifications is an asset
Working knowledge of Baan ERP system is an asset.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
