54 North Powersports is looking for a shipper / receiver who can bring their organization skilles and refined processes to our team. We are a full-line BRP Dealership with an experienced core team. Our desire is to be the leading Powersports dealership not only in our area but against our peer dealers across the country. We are not looking for someone who goes by the book but rather the one who writes the book!
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of shipper/receiver experiece
Proven self-starter with the ability to make decisions based on solid experience.
Excellent customer service and team communication skills are a must!
Criminal Record Check and Drivers Abstract
Proficient with computers and software including but not limited to Outlook, Dealer Business Systems, Various online platforms.
Ability to lift heavy loads up to 50lbs
Job Description:
Reporting directly to the Parts Manager, the shipper will be responsible to assist in unloading and receive the various daily freight shipments. Matching invoices to orders and updating our dealer business system to reflect proper quantities and costs.
Bin locating received stock to the proper storage location for pickup by customers or other department staff.
Alert customers via phone, email or text as to the arrival or status of their order.
Communicate with other department staff as to the arrival or status of parts orders.
Assist with seasonal inventory checks and obsolescence returns.
Various other tasks that ensure the successful operation of the Parts Department.
Compensation and Work Schedule:
The dealership operates Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm and Saturdays 8:30am to 12:00pm.
Industry competitive compensation will be based on 40-44 hour work week and paid at a fixed hourly wage to be determined based on the applicant’s qualifications and job experience.
Extended hours may be required from time to time as needed. Scheduling will remain flexible to ensure full staff coverage and a 40-44 hour workweek is maintained.
Time-off, Holiday Pay and Health Benefit options will be in-line with Provincial Standards but to be discussed with the applicant individually.
