Backtrack Railway Services Ltd has been serving the rail industry for over 20 years.
Backtrack offers sales, service and parts of various hand and power tools required in the rail industry, with five locations across Canada we are a leader in the in supply services.
We have an opportunity for the right person to join our dynamic team at our St. Albert location.
Position: Shipper/Receiver Customer Relations – Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments, inspect, organize and inventory in computer based system
Prepare outgoing shipments – packaging, prepare bill of lading, TDG shipping documents
Assist in monitoring, stocking and maintaining inventory of components at the facility
Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of items in the local area
Counter sales and customer support
Assist in housekeeping duties in the office and shop when required
Willing to advance and assist with equipment servicing and repair
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Shipper Receiver experience
Class 5 drivers license
Good oral and written communication skills
Experience with computer based management systems
Mechanically inclined – related education an asset
Forklift experience and asset
Must be a team player
Physically able to lift >50lbs

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
