We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee operations in our fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure the highest standards of customer service, food safety, and operational efficiency.

Duties

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies.
  • Manage staff training and development programs to enhance team performance and service quality.
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
  • Handle inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels efficiently.
  • Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for cash handling and transaction management.
  • Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new staff members to build a strong team.
  • Implement budgeting strategies to maintain financial health while optimizing resource allocation.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health regulations.
  • Coordinate shift management to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.

Skills

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or similar roles within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and food handling regulations.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff training.
  • Familiarity with quick service & fast food environments as well as fine dining experiences is preferred.
  • Proficient in cash handling procedures and inventory management practices.
  • Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial planning, and cost control measures within a restaurant setting is advantageous.

Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
