Our Client is a leading manufacturer of custom plastic bottles, jars and tubes in North America. They are looking for Set-Up Technicians to join their team as soon as possible.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
– Will change moulds on blow moulding machines (machines used are Automa and Bekum)
-Will troubleshoot blow moulding machines – Will program blow molding machines (training required as this will take time to learn and adapt to) – Work with Resin Technicians to make sure production lines are properly set up – PPE required (safety shoes), hair net, ear plugs, and work jacket provided SHIFT :
Must be
flexible with at least two of the three shifts. Will train on the day shift for 3-6 months and then get moved to a shift where the support is needed. Days: 8am-4pm Afternoons: 4pm-12am Nights: 12am-8am
LOCATION:
Woodbridge, ON PAY: $22/hr OT After 40 hours MUST HAVES:
Plastic Industry Machine Technician Experience (2+ years) Mechanically inclined Read/write English NICE TO HAVES:
– working with blow moulding machines (Automa and Bekum) – Injection mould experience is nice to have, however thermoforming would not qualify as it is very different from blow moulding For a quicker response please email
