Our team at Nex Industrial is looking for experienced technicians skilled in servicing and installing commercial automatic pedestrian doors, overhead doors, loading docks, security gates, lifts, restraints, controls, and related equipment.
We require team players who are detail‑oriented, reliable, accountable and who excel in customer service. The role involves on‑site service calls, equipment diagnostics, repairs, and customer communication. Training is provided to enhance product knowledge and safety skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Complete daily service calls as required.
- Document and detail all paperwork.
- Manage parts, tools, equipment, and materials.
- Work autonomously and as a reliable team member for both clients and the internal team.
Requirements
- Mechanical and electrical diagnostic/repair experience.
- AAADM certification (asset).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Safety certifications (will provide company required training).
- 5+ years of experience in servicing this type of equipment.
- Team oriented, detail oriented, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
- Hourly compensation based on experience.

Physical requirements:
ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights on scissor lifts, and use related hand and power tools. Work will be performed at commercial client sites.
