Hiring: Experienced Field Mechanic – Forklift Mechanic, Forklift Truck Mechanic, Material Handling Mechanic
We are looking for an Experienced Field Mechanic to join our growing Forklift Mechanic team at Coastal Material Handling.
We specialize in forklift service, maintenance, repair, and sales of all types of equipment – diesel, gas, propane, and electrical units. Both on-the-road and in-shop repair. We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated, experienced mechanic to join our team.
Must have good people skills and be capable of self-diagnosing problems, estimating jobs, and completing repairs. We are looking for reliable team members with a good work ethic who are safety conscious. Ability to use basic service software on our tablet is necessary.
You must have your own tools. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required to operate company vehicles.
- Must have your own tools.
- Must have forklift mechanical experience.
- Exercise and encourage proper safety practices at all times.
- Must have good people skills.
- Must know how to operate a forklift.
- Works well with the Supervisor and with other team members.
- Must be able to lift up to or in excess of 50 pounds as well as climb and kneel regularly.
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $32.00 – $40.00 per hour (Depending on experience*)
Experience:
Field Mechanic: 2+ years (Minimum Required)
License/Certifications:
Valid Drivers License in good standing (Required)
Forklift Certification (Preferred)
Work authorization:
United States (Required)
