Service Advisor Assistant Jobs in Stayner at Rough Ride Automotive
Overview
This is not an immediate sales role — it’s a high-impact support and customer relations position with a defined training path into a compensated service advisor/sales position. You’ll start by keeping the front of house organized, customers informed, and work moving smoothly; successful performers will be trained and promoted into sales-focused roles as they demonstrate mastery of systems, communication, and shop results.

Training & Career Progression (Clear Path to Sales)
- Structured training program (3–6 months typical) covering technical basics, service writing, upsell ethics, and sales communication
- Shadowing and mentorship with senior service advisors
- Regular skill checkpoints with measurable competencies (phone handling, estimate delivery, follow-up rates)
- Gradual increase in sales responsibilities (presenting recommended services, obtaining approvals) as competencies are demonstrated
- Promotion to Service Advisor / Sales role when scorecard metrics and manager sign-off are met
What the Sales-Ready Role Will Include (After Training)
- Confidently present repair recommendations and approvals
- Convert declined/pending work into scheduled repairs through consultative selling
- Own customer retention metrics and contribute to shop revenue goals
- Mentor newer front-counter staff on sales and service communication
