Job Description:
We are seeking friendly and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Server/Cashiers. As a Pidapipo’s member, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our customers while creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere in our gelato shop. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving gelato and other treats, handling transactions, and ensuring that our customers have a delightful visit to our shop.
Responsibilities:
· Assist customers in selecting flavors with a friendly attitude, up-selling products when appropriate.
· Prepare and serve gelato, beverages, and other menu items with attention to detail and presentation.
· Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gelato shop, including the serving area, display cases, and seating area.
· Monitor inventory levels and replenish gelato and topping supplies as needed.
· Assist in opening and closing duties of the shop.
· Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.
Requirements:
· Previous experience in customer service, food service, or retail preferred
· Knowledge of basic math for measurements and transactions
· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
· Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines in a kitchen setting
· Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Nice-to-Have Skills:
– Experience with cash handling procedures
– Upselling techniques to increase sales
