Exciting news! Bricks & Barrel, a new restaurant in Trenton, is opening soon and currently hiring servers and bartenders. Join our dynamic team and be part of a delicious journey! As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and creating a memorable experience through your knowledge of mixology and friendly demeanor. Duties:
– Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
– Take orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glasses
– Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their satisfaction with their drinks and overall experience
– Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, following all cash handling procedures
– Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of our guests
– Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
– Stay updated on current drink trends, new products, and industry best practices
Skills:
– Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, drink recipes, and garnishments
– Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
– Basic math skills for accurately processing payments and making change
– Familiarity with food safety regulations to ensure proper handling of ingredients
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
– Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
– Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
