Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled server / Bartender to join our team for Viva Pizzeria & Pasta at 158 O’Connor drive East York Toronto. The ideal candidate should have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
– Prepare and serve drinks to customers following standard recipes
– Interact with customers charismatically, take orders, and provide recommendations
– Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
– Check customers’ identification and confirm legal drinking age
– Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system efficiently
– Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely drink service
Experience
– Previous experience in bartending or customer service is preferred
– Knowledge of food handling, food safety, and basic math skills
– Familiarity with cashiering procedures and handling cash transactions
– Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
– Hospitality mindset with a friendly and approachable demeanor
– Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
– Experience in the food industry is a plus
-Must have Smart Serve certificate
