Nova Inn Restaurant located in a busy Hotel, full time shifts are Mornings, Evening and weekends
- Have a minimum of 3 years in the food service, bartending, hospitality or customer service industry
- Be very comfortable dealing with the public
- outgoing, friendly, easy going and energetic
- able to multitask, delegate, and supervise
- able to work under pressure and professionally and effectively deal with customers
- Adhere to and enforce Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission (AGLC) rules and regulations
- able to adapt an ever changing environment and different situations
- Maintain and encourage positive team morale and environment
- responsible of the tracking all the sales of all types of drinks including beers, cocktails, wines, spirits and beverages to the bar.
- Oracle, roomkey system experience asset

Summary
As a Server and Bartender, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. Reporting to the general manager, your role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Your expertise in bartending and familiarity with POS systems, including Oracle and Micros POS, will enhance the efficiency of service. With strong time management and cash handling skills, you will contribute to a seamless dining experience while promoting menu items to maximize guest satisfaction. - Provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest experiences.
- Take orders and serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring food safety standards are met.
- Operate the POS system accurately for transactions and manage cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address customer needs.
- Uphold hospitality standards and assist in training new staff as needed.
