Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, managing guest interactions, and supporting overall restaurant operations to deliver a memorable experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high service standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, and dining spaces
- Provide guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns professionally
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Ability to perform basic math for order entry, billing, and cash handling accurately
- Experience with food industry operations including serving, food handling, and food preparation is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
