Senior Staff Accountant/ Bookkeeper Part-time/ Full-time Jobs in Mississauga at TCPA
This is an IN-PERSON part-time contractor position (possible to become a full-time)
Job Description:
The Senior Bookkeeper must be capable of posting adjusting journal entries, catch mistakes, will be responsible for the daily financial accounting duties of the company, will review junior bookkeepers and report to the controller of the company.
The ideal candidate will be a team player who is detail oriented and willing to go above and beyond for the company.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Organize and manage all finances of the company
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
Problem solve with QuickBooks bookkeeping issues;
Prepare vendor cheques, government payments (Source Deductions, HST, WSIB, EHT, etc.
Process payment files on RBC express
Process accounts receivable/payable
Process payroll
Work overtime and weekends when required
Manage bookkeeper/finance team
Bank reconciliation and prepare reports as requested.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
5+ years of bookkeeping experience required.
5+ years experience in QuickBooks required.
Experience in RBC Express is an asset.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Must be able to type at least 40 WPM.
Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
