About the Role & Team
As part of the Sports book Engagement team, you will provide services to enhance our customers’ experience within the Score Sports book platforms. Actively look beyond the transactional elements of the product and delight our customers by providing the best experience to find, place, share, track and settle Sports book bets. This role involves directcollaborationwith our design, product, frontend, and backend development teams to define and deliver first-class sports betting experience.

About the Work
As a key member of the Sports book Engagement team you will:
Work with our preferred technology stack (Primarily Elixir, Phoenix, Phoenix Live View)
Develop, scale, and optimize gRPC endpoints, Graph
QL APIs, and SQL queries
Solve technical problems of the highest scope and complexity
Navigate through highly sensitive and regulated systems in our codebase; ensuring highest level of code quality and test coverage
Collaborate with team in a system designed to continually define and improve our internal style guide, maintainability and best practices
Participate in the design, architecture, and delivery of new features in acollaborativeagile/scrum environment
Collaborate with other teams and various stakeholders to build integrations with other internal services.
Setting up monitoring and alerting with Data Dog, Bugsnag, Pager Duty, Splunk
Other duties as required.
About You
A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, distributed systems, algorithms and software design
Passionate about clean code architecture and softwarecraftsmanship
Excellent written and verbalcommunication skillsto communicate clearly with various stakeholders, add and maintain documentation and work with other team members
Experience withmodernweb framework and API development (Phoenix, Ruby on Rails, Sinatra, Django, Laravel, Node)
A strong grasp and experience with relational databases; including PostgreSQL
Comfortable working in the terminal
Experience with Git and Git Hub or similar
Proficiency within an editor of your choice
Experience with testing frameworks such as ExUnit, RSpec, Jest, pytest or equivalent.
A strong grasp and experience with relational databases; including Postgre
SQL and MySQL
Experience with background job processing (Oban, Exq, Sidekiq, Celery, Beanstalk).
Experience withasynchronous event handling infrastructure (Apache Kafka, Rabbit
MQ, AWS SQS/SNS, Google Cloud Pub/Sub)
A passion for sports and/or gaming is considered an asset.

Experience withKubernetes, Kafka, building Graph
