Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and support strategic transformation initiatives within Capital Markets. This role involves driving complex program deliverables, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with organizational strategy. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in market risk, regulatory projects, and large-scale transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Program Initiative Leads to drive execution of strategic deliverables
- Lead workshops and working groups to gather requirements and define project plans
- Develop, manage, and track detailed project timelines and milestones
- Provide subject matter expertise and challenge business initiatives to ensure strategic alignment
- Ensure governance approvals for tools, processes, and controls
- Manage cross-functional dependencies across Risk, Product, Front Office, Product Control, and Technology teams
- Proactively identify risks/issues and drive resolution or escalation
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders across the organization
- Deliver clear, accurate, and tailored project updates for leadership forums and committees
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure successful program execution
Core Technical Skills
Required
- Proven experience delivering complex strategic project management initiatives
- Strong background in Capital Markets Transformation
- Experience managing Market Risk and Regulatory projects
- Expertise in project planning, prioritization, and execution
- Strong understanding of performance tracking and reporting mechanisms
- Excellent stakeholder management across global teams
Preferred
- Experience working across Front Office, Risk, Product Control, and Technology teams
- Exposure to enterprise-wide transformation programs
- Master’s degree or equivalent advanced education
Nice to Have
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification
- Experience in governance frameworks and target operating model design
