Overview
The Senior Program Manager is responsible for leading large, complex technology programs across multiple teams and business units. This role provides strategic direction, governance, and end-to-end delivery oversight to ensure successful program outcomes aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define program vision, scope, objectives, and success metrics aligned with organizational strategy.
- Develop and manage multi-year program roadmaps, balancing business priorities, technology needs, and resource capacity.
- Oversee end-to-end program delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Establish governance frameworks, reporting structures, and performance metrics.
- Manage stakeholder communication, including senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Track program progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and financial performance.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation across projects and vendors.
- Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and procurement activities.
- Identify and mitigate risks, manage escalations, and control scope changes.
- Lead and mentor delivery teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in IT program or project management.
- Experience delivering large, complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
