About The Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Product Manager to support an organizational-level initiative for the Integrated Divisional System (IDS). This role will complement ongoing user research and discovery activities, providing strategic oversight for transitioning records and metadata from IDS into OPSdocs. You will help shape the implementation roadmap, assess IT impacts, and ensure alignment with digital strategy and records management policies.
This is a hybrid role based in Toronto, Ontario, with three days per week in-office attendance required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development and evaluation of RFI assessing feasibility, cost, and effort to migrate records from IDS to OPSdocs.
- Provide strategic guidance to integrate vendor findings with OPS business processes and decommissioning plans.
- Support analysis of IDS inventory from a product and organizational perspective.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate priorities, risks, and dependencies.
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog; ensure alignment with business objectives, policy intent, and user needs.
- Translate business needs, policy requirements, and stakeholder feedback into actionable epics, features, and user stories.
- Participate in and/or lead Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Monitor delivery progress, manage dependencies, and proactively address risks and impediments.
- Produce clear product documentation, decision records, and stakeholder communications.
Must-Haves
- Proven experience in leading product vision, roadmap, and backlog management.
- Strong ability to define, refine, and communicate product goals, success metrics, and outcomes across stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments, collaborating with Scrum Masters, development teams, and business stakeholders.
- Public sector or regulated industry experience, including governance, compliance, and approvals.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable priorities.
Nice-to-Haves
- Knowledge of permitting, compliance, inspections, and enforcement processes.
- Experience using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools for backlog and roadmap management.
- Familiarity with reporting, KPIs, and benefits realization tracking to inform product decisions.
- Prior experience in records management system migrations or enterprise system modernization.
