In exchange, what you’ll be doing:

Manage, support, and collaborate with HR and recruitment Teams; ensuring team goals and KPI’s are achieved.

Advise, coach, and mentor HR team members, employees, supervisors and managers on best practices and processes.

Partner with business leaders to enhance human resources relationship with field operations through regular communication, working together to solve HR/business related problems, and utilizing KPI’s to drive improvement

Design and develop tools and programs to support all aspects of human resources within the organization including best practices for recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, labour relations, training and development, and employee engagement.

Maintain compliance to all labour and employment law, complete workplace investigations as necessary along with all required reporting

Utilize and lead HR technology improvements for Human Resources activities

Identify continuous improvement opportunities and projects for the business and human resources within the organization

Build team morale and promote company culture by demonstrating positive and professional attitude

Maintain the highest level of professional standards and confidentiality as it relates to the organization

Required Qualifications you will have:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with concentration on Human Resources, or similar degree or work experience. Minimum 5 years Human Resources experience in a human resources leadership role with minimum of 3 years managing a team of HR professionals (5 years preferred).

Extensive knowledgeable in Canadian Employment Law, Provincial Employment Standards, Ministry of Labour Regulations, and Canadian Human Rights. Well-rounded in all areas of Human Resources related to human resources, employee benefits and payroll.

Ability to be adaptive on a regular basis and work both strategically and tactically and to work in ambiguous situations

Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Must be technologically savvy. Proficient in Microsoft and google platforms. Previous experience in ADP HRIS is preferred

Even better if you have:

Previous experience managing a multi province HR team and workforce

Ability to drive HR team accountability and build effective relationships throughout the organization

A passion for understanding the goals of leaders and helping them find pathways to support their goals

Experience building HR tools and processes including manager self-service, employee engagement initiatives, etc.
