About The RoleClutch is looking for aSenior Manager, People Operationsto join the growing People Operations team! At Clutch, you have the opportunity to work in an environment in which People Operations has a seat at the table and the business truly values strategic human resources partnership and results. You are hungry to develop yourself as a well-rounded HR professional and understand the diverse demands of this particular function in a start-up setting. You are passionate about the entire employee experience from recruiting, onboarding, development, and offboarding; you have a high standard for your work with an eye for detail and best practices without sacrificing speed; and most of all, you believe in data-driven HR decisions and are able to pivot and come up with solutions based on garnered insights.

You will touch upon all foundational areas of HR from talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, training and development, engagement and retention, workforce planning, HR compliance, workplace safety, and payroll administration, but you will also be given the exciting opportunity to zoom out to re-examine, formalize, and build Clutch’s HR practices from scratch.

What You’ll Do

Own, develop, and iterate on policies and processes to ensure a best-in-class employee experience – you’ll act as a strong advisor of the policies and processes that keep Clutch running day to day

Participate in recruiting activities and own recruiting for senior level positions

Build reporting and metrics to measure recruiting efficiency and effectiveness, as well as headcount efficiency of different teams and Clutch overall

Use above mentioned metrics to assist with workforce planning and compensation and total rewards review

Oversee HRIS, benefits, and payroll administration

Oversee and administer hourly and salary payroll with oversight and review from the Head of Finance

Research statutory obligations and gold standard human resources policies to provide guidance to leadership and team

When appropriate, conduct workplace investigations, handle grievances, arbitrations, and conduct discipline and performance management meetings

Lead our semi-annual and annual review processes, using compensation data sets to help organization leaders benchmark and level roles within teams
