What is the opportunity?As a data and analytics expert you have an opportunity to lead the data strategy and analytical for the RBC Personal Banking Investment Digitization team. This transformational team leads digital innovation for features such as Digital Account Open, Digital contributions, as well as managing advice centric tools for client and this exciting role of Senior Manager Data & Analytics you will be responsible for:
1. Driving the Investment Digitization Data strategy to support current use-cases and the roadmap
2. Ensure stakeholder needs as met wen planning data requirements for new features and updates.
3. Providing analytical insights to enable successful product, design and business strategy decisions
4. Engage with other teams to ensure data is ready and available to be consumed downstream, whether part of AI projects, data models or marketing opportunities.
What will you do?
Drive Investment Digitization Data Strategy
Lead the Data & Analytics strategy in support of current use-cases and new capabilities on the multi-year roadmap
As part of the Investment Digitization Strategy team, co-lead the creation of OKRs to ensure that product team are working towards measurable Holistic Advice, Adoption and Engagement objectives
Be the “Voice of Data” in development squads to ensure that the product is developed with data needs in the requirements
Hands-on data analytics and application
Technology / Processes / Tools
– Facilitate the turn-over of data to analytics and insights for ad-hoc strategic needs
Develop and maintain dashboards to provide results and communicate effectively to all levels and partners.
Produce deep dive analytics for areas within the dashboard to show the digital product’s progress against OKRs
Lead with an understanding of the problem statement and propose analytical measures that solve the need of our partners/ strategy team requesting analysis
Foster strong working relationships with Product/ Development teams, Design and business teams and RBC’s specialized data teams such as CDA SSE
Transformational
Transform and optimize data processes to shape the future of of the digital products to enable seamless used by downstream partners such as NOMI, NBA or different AI solutions.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

Ability to perform complex data analysis on large volumes of data and present findings in an effective manner to senior leadership.
Highly proficient with SQL/Python/Pyspark for querying, joining and manipulating large datasets using data in EDW and EDL.
Knowledge of Google Analytics to lead development requirements and retrieve data for reporting needs.
Proven understanding of databases and ability to work with various data formats like JSON.
Excellent analytical skills – ability to creatively problem solve real world business problems and communicate complex analytical solutions in user friendly language.
Bias for action leading analytical story-telling against tight timelines and in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing environment
Excellent interpersonal and interaction skills to include communications, presentation and conflict resolution skills
Nice-to-have
Experience in financial services industry with broad understanding of product management
Experience with client, account and transactional data from RBIS as it related to RBC Investments.
Masters degree in quantitative discipline
