Title: Senior Logistics Coordinator

Company: Insight Global

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Day-to-Day

Insight Global is looking for a Commodity Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for coordinating the downstream movement and marketing of recyclable packaging materials from Receiving Facilities and Material Recovery Facilities to approved end markets across British Columbia. On a day-to-day basis, the Specialist will oversee material allocation, support transportation coordination in close partnership with logistics, and proactively resolve issues related to delays, contamination, reporting gaps, or service disruptions. Once materials reach end markets, this role ensures accurate chain-of-custody tracking, documentation, and reporting in accordance with program and regulatory requirements, including data that feeds into public-facing reporting. As this function is being transitioned in-house, the Specialist will initially focus on stabilizing existing workflows, building structure and consistency, and identifying operational gaps, before progressing into process improvement, efficiency initiatives, and long-term optimization of end-market operations.

  • Experience identifying and resolving operational issues such as delays, quality concerns, or service disruptions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort engaging at multiple levels of an organization
  • Ability to operate effectively in a newly in-housed role where processes are evolving and require stabilization
