Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Inside Technology Sales Consultant with a strong technical foundation and proven sales ability. This role is ideal for someone who understands IT infrastructure and can confidently engage with clients, identify needs, and translate those into customized technology solutions.

You will work with both new and existing clients, guiding them through technology decisions, building proposals, and driving revenue through a consultative sales approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with inbound leads and existing clients to assess technology needs

Conduct discovery calls to understand business operations, infrastructure, and growth plans

Design and present tailored IT solutions, including managed services and project-based work

Create detailed proposals, quotes, and scopes of work

Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure accurate solution design

Maintain and grow relationships within the existing client base

Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs

Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in IT sales, preferably within an MSP or technology services environment

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including:

Computers and workstations

Servers and server applications

Networking (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless)

Data management, backup, and security solutions

Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients

Experience creating proposals and closing consultative sales

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in an MSP environment

Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks

Exposure to audio/visual systems and low-voltage infrastructure

Experience with CRM systems and structured sales processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
