Large wholesaler located in Vaughan seeks a Senior IT Manager to be responsible for the strategic leadership, operational management, and oversight of the information technology infrastructure and systems. This role ensures secure, reliable, and efficient IT operations across the company, including ERP/CRM platforms, network and cloud systems, cybersecurity, and business applications. The Senior IT Manager also supervises the Data Administration / Customer Support team ensuring accurate data management, high-quality customer support, and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve IT strategies aligned with business goals, recommending technology investments that optimize operations, security, and cost efficiency.
- Manage escalations for operational or customer support issues.
- Oversee all IT systems including servers, networks, cloud solutions, business applications, ERP/CRM platforms, and terminal technology systems, ensuring availability, scalability, and reliability.
- Maintain robust IT security protocols, access controls, and monitoring, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies, privacy regulations, and industry standards.
- Ensure the Data Admin team accurately maintains operational and customer data, validates entries, escalates discrepancies, and maintains oversight of data quality and reporting processes.
- Establish and monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) for IT support, help-desk operations, and customer support workflows; implement processes to track performance and improve responsiveness.
- Lead IT projects including system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and infrastructure expansions, managing change processes to minimize risk and ensure smooth deployment.
- Manage IT budget, including operating and capital expenditures; oversee vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate technology investments for ROI and operational impact.
- Develop and maintain IT documentation, system manuals, and SOPs; provide training and guidance to internal teams to optimize system usage and adherence to processes.
- Define KPIs for IT operations, system availability, incident resolution, and team performance; generate regular reports for senior management to monitor IT effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, backup protocols, and continuity procedures to minimize downtime and protect data integrity.
- Partner with operations, finance, logistics, and sales teams to align IT initiatives with business needs, improve processes, and support terminal operation.
