Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Company: HighView Partners
Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Step into a high-impact finance role within a leading private equity real estate platform where you will take ownership of core financial processes, work closely with senior leadership, and gain exposure across a growing investment business.
Your New Employer
Our client is a Toronto-based private equity real estate investment firm focused on development and value-add opportunities across North America. The platform partners with leading developers and continues to expand its investment activity, creating increasing complexity across its finance function.
The finance team operates within a lean and collaborative structure, reporting to the VP of Finance and working closely with a hands-on Finance Manager. The broader team includes accounting, AP, and analyst support, creating an environment where individuals are expected to take ownership while working closely together.
The firm is based out of a modern office in Toronto, offering a relaxed, business-casual environment with regular team and company-wide social events.
Your New Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting corporate finance operations across the platform. This position combines hands-on accounting responsibilities with broader exposure to financial reporting, project-level activity, and stakeholder coordination.
The successful candidate will take ownership of core processes, including month-end close, financial reporting, and variance analysis, while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information across multiple entities. The role will also involve working closely with third-party property managers, reviewing their reporting, coordinating adjustments, and supporting funding requests, construction draws, and project distributions.
In addition, the role will support year-end audit processes, including preparation of working papers and coordination with external auditors and tax advisors. There will also be opportunities to contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis, as well as identify and implement process improvements within a growing platform.
This is a hands-on role within a collaborative team environment, offering strong visibility and the opportunity to take on increasing ownership over time.
What Sets You Apart
The ideal candidate will hold a CPA designation (or be near completion) and have 3–6 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or corporate finance. Candidates from public accounting, particularly those with exposure to real estate or similarly structured clients, will be well-positioned for success.
You will have a strong foundation in full-cycle accounting, including experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting within a multi-entity environment. Exposure to real estate, development, accounting, or property management is considered a strong asset.
Equally important is your mindset. You are someone who takes ownership of your work, operates effectively in a lean team, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You are detail-oriented, collaborative, and motivated to grow within the real estate industry.
Why Join?
This is an opportunity to join a well-established and growing private equity real estate platform in a role that offers both responsibility and exposure. You will work closely with experienced finance leaders, gain insight into development and investment activity, and play a meaningful role in supporting the firm’s continued growth.
The role offers a balance of hands-on execution and broader business exposure, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a more ownership-driven position with long-term career progression.
Compensation
Our client is offering a base salary in the range of $90,000 to $95,000 (with flexibility for strong candidates), along with a target bonus of approximately 20%, 3 weeks of vacation, 3 wellness days, flexible sick days, and a comprehensive benefits package. Additional perks include access to internal investment opportunities.
Additional Information
This role is based in Toronto and is 5 days in the office, with flexibility as needed. The team operates in a modern office environment with a business-casual dress code and regular social events.
