Reporting directly to the CFO, the Senior
Financial Analysis
will be responsible for overseeing monthly and quarterly financial reporting including the development of financial models and accounting techniques for financial planning and control.
Additional responsibilities will include analysis of financial information to determine present and future financial performance.
Develop relationships with on-site staff, government agencies, suppliers, and other stakeholders in the industry.
Develop budgets, planning, and other financial reports.
Manage all project cost accounting activities and reporting for assigned construction projects during redevelopment.
Essential
Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Develop financial models, analyze financial data, and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present financial reports, variance analysis, and key performance indicators to
senior management
.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with financial regulations.
Risk Management:
Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations for risk mitigation and profit maximization.
Cost Analysis:
Analyze cost structures, cost drivers, and
cost reduction
opportunities.
Collaborate with
cross-functional teams
to improve operational efficiency.
Revenue Analysis:
Analyze revenue streams, pricing strategies, and market trends to optimize revenue generation.
Investment Analysis
:
Evaluate investment opportunities, capital expenditures, and potential acquisitions.
Provide financial justification for investment decisions.
Financial Modeling
& Ad-hoc Analysis:
Develop complex financial models for scenario planning, financial projections, and capital allocation.
Conduct ad-hoc
financial analysis
and projects as requested by management.

Job Requirements:
CPA or working towards completion3+ years of experience in a similar Financial Analyst position Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in
financial modeling
and data analysis tools is an asset In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards Excellent
communication skills
with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel Strong
attention to detail
and
problem-solving
abilities
