Role DescriptionThe Dropbox team is growing, and we’re looking for an engineering manager to support this growth.
In this role, you’ll lead a team of engineers to build one of Dropbox s newest AI offerings, Dash.

ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a high-performing team of engineers, fostering individual ownership, and drivingimpactfuloutcomes.
Shape and advance the future of Dash, driving product monetization and revenue generation for Dropbox.
Utilize data and insights to make informed decisions that significantly impact the company.
Foster operational excellence, streamline processes, and eliminate redundancies to ensure team agility.
Cultivate acollaborativeculture within the team that embodies Dropbox’s values.
Provide strategic direction and proactively anticipate scaling challenges through long-term planning.
Contribute to the formulation of technical and product strategies.
RequirementsBS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent technical experience 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in direct management roles.
Proven track recordof setting visionary goals and delivering iterative progress.
Strong expertise in distributed systems or backend infrastructure at scale.
Exceptional analytical capabilities to optimize solutions in complex anddynamicenvironments.
Ability tomentor and guide team members to maximize their impact.
Preferred QualificationsPhD in Computer Science or related field with research in machine learning
Experience withone or more of the following: natural language processing, recommendation systems, machine learning for information retrieval, machine learning on mobile devices Total Rewards Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox s total rewards package.
All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
Current Salary/OTE Ranges (Subject to change): C $212,500 – C $250,000 – C $287,500
