Take the lead in electromagnetic compatibility at Bombardier as a Senior Engineer. Focus on EMI, HIRF, LIRF, and Lightning to ensure aircraft safety and compliance.
Based in the Administrative Centre, this Senior Engineering role reports to the Engineering EMC Section Chief. You will leverage your extensive experience in electromagnetic compatibility to guide projects and support certification efforts. Your expertise will help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while mentoring junior staff and improving processes across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead complex EMC engineering assignments related to EMI and Lightning
• Analyze designs and assess compliance with certification regulations
• Propose knowledge capture initiatives to close skills gaps
• Provide EMC guidance to R&D teams and project stakeholders
• Prepare and review test procedures and compliance reports
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 8 years of EMC experience, 4 in aerospace
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and airworthiness regulations
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
• Excellent communication skills;
French is an asset
