About the Role
As Senior Director of Integrated Planning, you will be the heartbeat of our planning discipline. You’ll lead a portfolio of high-impact clients, spark innovation in integrated media strategy, and mentor a team of planners to create work that’s bold, effective, and deeply human.
This role blends business architect, strategic advisor, and team builder. You’ll be charged with elevating our planning product, deepening client relationships, and ensuring operational excellence across your group.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Leadership
· Design integrated media strategies that deliver true business impact across digital, traditional, and emerging channels.
· Champion Epitaph’s proprietary planning tools and frameworks, ensuring their consistent use and ongoing evolution.
· Act as a senior advisor to clients, translating their goals into media strategies that spark growth.
Business & Financial Stewardship
· Lead client profitability, optimizing team utilization and managing scopes.
· Expand offerings through strategic cross-selling and partner opportunities to meet annual revenue targets.
· Provide transparent, accurate forecasting and reporting across your portfolio.
Team Development
· Inspire and manage an Integrated Planning team, cultivating a culture of excellence, growth, and accountability.
· Deliver ongoing coaching and development, tailored to both team and individual needs.
· Balance workloads and resources across accounts for optimal performance.
Client & Partner Engagement
· Build strong relationships with clients, agency partners, and media vendors at all levels.
· Lead strategic presentations, workshops, and planning sessions with confidence and clarity.
· Identify out-of-scope opportunities and convert them into new revenue streams.
Innovation & Thought Leadership
· Champion digital-first thinking and experimentation, partnering closely with analytics and digital teams to test, learn, and scale.
· Stay ahead of industry trends, bringing fresh perspectives and new opportunities to the agency and clients.
· Represent Epitaph in new business pitches, industry panels, and thought leadership forums, including agency POVs.
What You’ll Bring
· 12+ years of experience in media strategy and planning, with proven leadership across integrated channels.
· Deep expertise in digital media, analytics, and performance marketing.
· Strong financial acumen, with experience managing P&Ls, scopes, and forecasts.
· Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
· Track record of leading, mentoring, and inspiring high-performing teams.
· Strategic mindset, driven to act and achieve results.
· Ability to travel domestically and internationally to meet with clients.

Salary Range: $120,000 – $135,000 CDN
