Project: GTS – Service Support. PAM transformation project. Onboarding to Service Now. Onboarding Service Now Workflow for backend integration

Contributes to the overall success of the ITSM engineering team under Global Enterprise & Technology Platforms (GTEP). Utilize the Service Now cloud-based workflow platform to provide enterprise IT Service Management, Asset Management and Operations Management in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. Ensure team goals, plans, and initiatives are delivered in support of business strategies and objectives.

Candidate Value Proposition
The main function of a Developer is to design, develop, and implement applications using general languages and technologies (e.g. Service Now, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, REST and SOAP Integrations) to support business requirements on the Service Now platform.

Typical Day in Role

Analyse highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications

Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts

Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution

Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area

Involved in the full system lifecycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget

Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions

Candidate Requirements / Must Have Skills

Overall, 8-10 years of experience as a IT Developer.

3-5 years of development experience in Service Now. With hands-on experience with Service Now troubleshooting and developing the solution within the Service Now platform.

Overall- 3-7 years of experience with Java Script

Service Now Advanced System Administration certified, or training is a Must

3+ years of experience in systems design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies

Hands on experience in working on the Service Now platform as a developer using ACL’s, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Rest and SOAP.

Nice-To-Have Skills

Ability to do research and development of new ways to leverage the Service Now platforms

Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC

Experience with PAM (Cyber Ark) is highly preferred

Possess in depth knowledge of single large or multiple small applications

Ability to work on systems integration projects

Ability to troubleshoot issues independently

ITIL Foundation certification or training

Soft Skills Required

Good time management skills to work on multiple assignment

Ability to analyse complex situations

Ability to present to stakeholders

Is a good team player

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required or experience in the related field

Service Now admin, ITIL, training or certification

Best vs. Average Candidate
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Service Now CAD or Service Catalogue and system integration is great to have. Experience in Service Now for more than 5 years and has worked on Service Now transformation project.
