S.i. Systems client is looking for a Senior Developer, ERP to manage the design, build and deployment of custom code within the SAP environment to enable vital reports, integrations, data conversions, improvements and forms.
Permanent role – open to candidates in Vancouver, Calgary or Toronto – Hybrid (3 days per week in Vancouver – travel occasionally for candidates in Calgary or Toronto
MUST HAVES:
Extensive SAP ABAP development experience in S/4 HANA implementations, upgrades, or conversions
Expertise in OO-ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, Open SQL, OData, Enhancements (BAdIs/User Exits), and Adobe/Smart Forms
Strong techno-functional knowledge of SAP FI, SD, and core logistics processes
Experience with integrations (IDocs, RFCs, APIs, web services)
Understanding of S/4 HANA architecture, data models, and simplification items
Proven performance tuning and debugging experience in HANA environments
Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills
Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 from a backend enablement perspective
Exposure to SAP BTP, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), or SAP Cloud integrations
Knowledge of SAP security concepts, role design impacts, and authorization objects related to custom development
Experience working within SAP Activate or Agile delivery methodologies
Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and CI/CD alignment in SAP landscapes
