Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist for our client. This is a permanent position that is completely remote! Our client is a fintech company based out of Vancouver.
You Have 3 – 5+ Years experience working in Data Engineering/Data Science utilizing R (purrr, tidyr, dplyr, tibble, & the tidyverse)
Strong analytical skills working with unstructured data sets
Knowledge of relational (Postgre
SQL, MySQL, etc.) and non-relational databases (including Mongo
DB)
Strong experience with big data services like Spark, Kafka, Rabbit
Experience working with Startups are considered a bonus
Experience working with cloud services, specifically AWS are considered a bonus
