Sr. Data Engineer
12 month contract opportunity, high potential to extend
This is an on-site opportunity.
4 – 5 times per week in the downtown Vancouver office.
Keys to the role:
- 4+ years of professional work experience
- SQL
- Tableau dashboarding
- Building data sources
- Understanding of user usage, user behavior, and generating insights from the data
Assets:
- Python
- Mobile or Health project experience
Responsibilities:
- Develop data dashboards, data sources and ETL for the related business insights and product analytics
- Analyze data in order to understand performance and behavior of mobile applications
- Help us innovate and develop new product insights by collaborating with the teams across organization to improve the customers satisfaction across the world
- Works on complex issues where analyzing customer situation or business data requires an in-depth evaluation of variables
- Exercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results
- Generate data reports and business insights using the latest ML/AI technology
Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and intermediate Python
- Strong knowledge of Tableau or other data visualization tools
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling
- Experience with ETL tools and data pipelines (Airflow, Apache Spark or equivalent)
- Experience with AWS and GCP services
- Excellent communication and team working skills
$60 – $70 per hour for an INC consultant
