Job Description:
Our global manufacturing client is looking for a Senior Cost Analyst who will assist the Controller in the assessment of company performance by study and analysis of financial and operational data.
The Cost Analyst will act as a catalyst in the
continuous improvement
process by supplying analytical support to the operational areas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the total cost management system (BOM, Routing, Standard Cost Calculation).
Responsible for the weekly and monthly variance analysis of production and OH accounts.
Responsible for gross margin analysis.
Manage the budgeted cost maintenance on invoicing system.
Complete account reconciliations as assigned.
Support tooling inventory and costing.
Support the fixed assets management.
Responsible for reviewing the requisition log.
Support all aspects of the Accounts Receivable function such as distribution of invoices, entering tooling invoices, applying cash receipts, communicating the status of past due invoices and preparing monthly reports as required.
Assist in the preparation of year-end audit package.
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
Responsible for the daily posting of production and general labor.

Job Requirements:
CA/CPA designation or in process.
Experience with
Manufacturing/Automotive/costing is essential.
