NDR (Network Detection Response) utilizes cutting-edge machine learning technology for sophisticated malware detection, intrusion detection, and network anomaly detection. As we expand our existing on-prem solutions into SaaS environments utilizing Open Stack, we are seeking candidates for two brand new positions to lead this strategic expansion: a Senior C/C++ Cloud Developer and a Senior C/C++ Full Stack Cloud Developer. Please note we are open to both senior and staff level candidates for these positions.

This is a full-time, permanent position
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the development of our on-prem functionalities for SaaS-based deployment, specifically adapting them for integration with cloud platforms like Open Stack.
Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend systems using C/C++ that integrate smoothly with Open Stack, leveraging virtualization technologies such as KVM and storage formats like QCOW
2.Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to ensure seamless integration and effective deployment of services on cloud infrastructures.
Optimize and adapt existing backend systems to ensure high performance and reliability in a SaaS environment.
Skills Required:
Advanced proficiency in C and C++ with a solid understanding of software architecture and cloud adaptation.
Minimum 6 years’ demonstrated related work experience.
Experience in deploying and managing private or public cloud services (eg. AWS, GCP, Azure, Open Stack, etc.).Extensive Unix/Linux environment experience.
Expert understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP), firewalls, and network infrastructure.
Excellent
problem-solving skills
with the ability to address complex
technical challenges
.
Self-motivated and capable of leading significant expansion projects with minimal supervision.
Nice to Have:
Proven experience in developing and expanding large-scale systems into cloud and SaaS platforms, particularly Open Stack, with a deep understanding of KVM virtualization and QCOW2 file formats.
Experience in deploying and managing Open Stack-based services.
Education
requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
The Canada base
salary range
for this full-time position is expected to be between $120,000 – $150,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.
