Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst / PO / Lead with deep expertise in financial services technology to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a versatile technology professional who excels at bridging complex business needs and technology solutions across large-scale, enterprise-wide initiatives. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical skills, leadership ability, and a proven record of delivering high-impact projects in regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end business systems analysis for large, complex technology programs including mergers and acquisitions, platform replacements, and cloud transformations.
  • Elicit, document, and validate business and solution requirements through collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders including business, architecture, security, and technology teams.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables including high-level requirements, user stories, data flow diagrams, current and future state assessments, and stakeholder analyses.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and overarching consultation across multiple agile pods, ensuring alignment and consistency of solution design.
  • Act as a trusted liaison between business partners and technology teams, translating business needs into actionable technology solutions.
  • Lead and mentor teams of analysts, setting direction, managing workloads, and supporting professional development.
  • Present solution options and recommendations—including pros/cons analysis—to senior leadership and executive committees to obtain alignment.
  • Support governance, quality assurance, and reporting functions including pipeline reporting and executive-level dashboards.
  • Drive cloud and SaaS adoption initiatives in partnership with legal, corporate services, finance, and vendor teams.
  • Manage operations support and production verification to ensure high-quality, reliable system performance.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar technology role within large financial institutions.
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-level programs involving data platforms, fraud systems, finance technology, or regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in all phases of the SDLC including requirements management, solution design, quality assurance, and project governance.
  • Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional pod structures.
  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and audience-appropriate artifacts (user stories, DFDs, solution blueprints, roadmaps).
  • Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and obtain senior-level buy-in.
  • Experience managing or mentoring teams of technology professionals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to fraud detection, financial crimes response, or regulatory compliance programs.
  • Experience with big data platforms, lakehouse architectures, AI/ML platform delivery, or cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture portfolio management tools and governance frameworks.
  • Track record delivering cross-border or multi-market technology solutions (e.g., North America / EU integrations).
  • Experience supporting M&A integration projects from a technology and data perspective.
  • Diploma or degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related field.
