About the Role:
We're a digital agency building websites and mobile apps for a diverse client base. Our BA role sits at the intersection of client relationships and technical delivery — you'll be the person who takes a rough, incomplete brief and turns it into something developers can actually build.
This is not a passive requirements-documentation role. You'll drive clarity, own stakeholder relationships, and be a confident voice in both client rooms and sprint planning sessions.
What You'll Do:
- Lead discovery and requirements-gathering sessions with clients, asking the right questions to surface what they actually need
- Identify gaps and ambiguities in requirements early and proactively organize the right conversations to resolve them
- Translate business needs into well-structured, developer-ready stories and tasks in Jira/Linear
- Work closely with developers to understand their execution approach and break down work in ways that reflect technical reality
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and keep delivery on track without waiting to be asked
- Collaborate with designers in Figma to ensure requirements and UX intent are aligned before dev handoff
- Be a steady, confident presence for clients — presenting options when clarity is needed, not just surfacing problems
What We're Looking For:
- 6–10 years of BA experience, ideally in a digital agency or product consultancy
- Genuine comfort with ambiguity — you don't wait for perfect requirements, you go get them
- Strong technical intuition: you understand software development risks, can speak credibly with developers, and know how to size and sequence work
- Experience with Jira or Linear, Figma, and Agile/Scrum environments
- Fearless stakeholder communication — you're comfortable initiating difficult conversations and presenting structured options to clients and executives
- High ownership mentality — when something is unclear, your instinct is to organize a path forward, not wait for direction
- A genuine interest in integrating AI tools into your workflow — we're actively exploring how AI can make our delivery process sharper, and we expect our BA to be curious, experimental, and willing to lead by example in this area

The hourly rate range for this position is $50-$85, with final compensation determined based on factors such as work location, skills, experience, and background.
