We are a growing group of entrepreneur-led businesses, including an established interior design firm and a modern laundromat and laundry service business, with plans for additional ventures in the future.
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented financial professional to oversee bookkeeping, financial reporting, cash flow management, and operational finance across multiple companies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, can work independently, and wants to become a trusted financial partner to the owners.
Duties
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently using accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and account analysis reports
- Conduct auditing procedures to verify financial records and compliance with standards
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely payments
- Maintain detailed bookkeeping records and perform regular account reviews
- Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities for small business clients
- Support client inquiries related to financial statements and account discrepancies
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls
Experience
- Proven experience working with accounting softwares
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles including bookkeeping, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and auditing practices
- Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial analysis for small businesses or similar environments
- Familiarity with corporate finance concepts including budgeting and account analysis
- Prior experience in financial services or related fields is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
